Change Your Life, Delete Who You Follow

I deleted over 500 followers and my life changed.

And I recommend you do the same thing. As a matter of fact, I’m simultaneously writing Congress to pass a new national holiday, Delete Day of America. A day where we all do it together, delete the troll, block the ex, and unfollow the unnecessary. We do it all on the same day so we don’t have to take it personally, we’re all on the same page, it’s easier this way.

My scroll down delete lane began with a mathematical question. Why do the same people, places and things keep showing up on my feed?

The answer, algorithms, and with algorithms, it’s business as usual on the gram and all other social media platforms.

Mathematically my only solution is to go on a deep dive into those I follow and start to removing them. This is no easy task. These aren’t just ordinary humans, these are people, places and things that I’ve been following for years! I’m their fan, liker and heart stamper.

Regardless of my love for these one dimensional profiles, I need to break free. I need to see new people, places and things. I long for a new feed, so I’m giving myself a feed makeover. And every transformation begins with demo or in this case, delete time.
